In 2023, Sinfonietta Rīga and Emīls Dārziņš Music School will launch a new educational project SINFONIETTA Rīga ACADEMY.

As part of it, master classes of Sinfonietta Rīga musicians and guest artists, engaging creative meetings and special concerts for budding music professionals - orchestra musicians will be organized.

Already today, the first meeting with the orchestra was organized for the young people and they had the opportunity to follow the orchestra's rehearsal in person, appreciating the impossibly masterful performance of the outstanding pianist Behzod Abduraimov. The first open rehearsal of Sinfonietta Riga Academy was opened by orchestra director Anete Toča.

More and more regular Sinfonietta Riga Academy sessions are planned in the future. The nezt meeting, within the framework of which both master classes and a concert are planned, will take place in the concert hall of Emīls Dārziņš Music school in October this year.
