The second session of the SINFONIETTA RIGA ACADEMY project has passed.

In 2023, Sinfonietta Riga and Emīls Dārziņš Music School launched a new educational project which organizes master classes, concerts, open rehearsals and creative meetings for Sinfonietta Riga musicians, guest artists, students and teachers of music schools and high schools.

On April 3rd, pianist Gottlieb Wallisch and harpsichordist Ieva Saliete met with young people in master classes, and at the end of the session, there was an open concert by the musicians of Sinfonietta Riga and Gottlieb Wallisch in the concert hall of the Emīls Dārziņš music school, where they played the compositions of Lepo Sumera's, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Mario Pilati.

More and more regular sessions of the Sinfonietta Riga Academy are planned in the future, which will allow professional musicians, music teachers and young talents to meet.
